About the project: In order to meet the demand for all-ocean depth scientific research, the development of an all-ocean depth operational manned submersible with independent intellectual property rights is completed by using domestically produced titanium alloy manned module, buoyancy materials, hydroacoustic communications and other components to achieve a 10,000-metre dive. The manned submersible “Fendouzhe” initially forms an all-ocean depth manned operational capability, lays an important foundation for the construction of a spectrum of China's deep-sea equipment and plays a leading role in the international deep-sea diving scientific and technological community.
Service scope of CME: Supervision of the design, manufacture, assembly, integration and commissioning and sea-testing phases of the full-depth manned submersible body, hydroacoustic communication and detection equipment, sampling and operation tools, and the ultra-high-pressure analogue test device.
