The department of scientific research is mainly engaged in the supervision of national scientific research projects, which plays an important part in connecting with the external market. It has been 20 years for the department of scientific research to be involved in the supervision of marine equipment projects under the national “863 Programme” since 2003. From then, the department has participated in the R&D projects of manned submersibles such as Jiaolong, Deep sea Warrior, Fendouzhe and other marine equipment as a third party supervisor. We have assisted the management organizations in controlling the quality and progress of scientific research projects, which has made up for the shortcomings in project management of the state organs, scientific research institutes and colleges and universities, and made great contributions to the national marine industry.
