China Metallurgical Engineering 2016 Contract Management and Risk Prevention and Control Training

In recent years, with the continuous expansion of China Metallurgical Engineering's business field, from the previous single service mode of equipment supervision, project management and project settlement, it has gradually set foot in the business of general contracting of engineering construction and equipment purchase and sale. In order to strengthen the prevention of legal risks in the process of contract signing and performance, and further improve the control of contract management process, Wang Hongyu, director of wind control of Sinosteel equipment, and Lu Shaomei, manager of risk management department, were specially invited to China Metallurgical Engineering for special training.
At 2: 00 p.m. on August 30, 2016, the contract management and risk prevention and control training officially started in China Metallurgical Engineering conference room. Wang Qi, General Manager of China Metallurgical Engineering, Liu Dadi, Technical Director, Shi Danhua, Deputy Chief Economist, Zhang Jie, Manager of Comprehensive Department, Wang Xinjiang, Manager of Engineering Department, and personnel of comprehensive departments of various business departments participated in the training.
First of all, Kang Ling, the wind control department, introduced the "Contract Management Measures" of the head office. From contract review and approval, contract authorization, contract conclusion, contract performance and contract change and transfer, to contract disputes and termination, there are specific regulatory requirements and implementation points. In-depth study of the head office's "contract management approach" is very helpful to build China Metallurgical Engineering's contract management process system.
Then Jiang Yong, the wind control department, explained the risk prevention and control in the process of contract signing and execution. For enterprises, the biggest risk is economic loss. Jiang Yong took the contract price as the main line, strung together the ten most common risk control points in contract conclusion and performance, and shared his experience through actual cases.
China Metallurgical Engineering participants actively asked questions about the practical problems encountered in the current signing of the contract, and the atmosphere of the on-site discussion was warm. Wang Xinjiang, Minister of Engineering, discussed how to negotiate the price adjustment with the owner for the contract change. Wang Hongyu, Director of Wind Control of the Head Office, gave reference suggestions in combination with the actual problems faced by China Metallurgical Engineering.
Finally, General Manager Wang Qi made a concluding speech. Thank the leaders of the wind control department for guiding China Metallurgical Engineering's work in spite of their busy schedule, and hope to strengthen cooperation in the future. China Metallurgical Engineering should also rely on the good resources of the head office, straighten out the contract control process, reasonably prevent operational risks, and escort the business department to continuously expand its business areas.
