In order to implement the guiding ideology of "innovation is the first driving force for development, and the protection of intellectual property rights is the protection of innovation" put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping, effectively strengthen the company's awareness of intellectual property protection and improve the level of intellectual property management, on the afternoon of August 4, 2021, the company invited Dong Weiyan (first from left), general manager of the National New Materials Industry Intellectual Property Operation Center, and Xing Xuqiao (second from left), senior consulting manager of Guozhi Company and deputy director of the Judicial Appraisal Center, to hold a special training on intellectual property in the conference room of China Metallurgical Engineering. The company's deputy general manager Wang Xinjiang, deputy general manager Zhang Jie, and deputy chief economist Shi Danhua led the company's business department leaders and business backbones in Beijing to participate in this study.
Focusing on the theme of "intellectual property", the experts in this training explained the importance of intellectual property, the operation of intellectual property, and the skills of intellectual property mining, application and layout. At the meeting, Deputy General Manager Wang Xinjiang introduced the basic situation of the company and communicated with experts on the intellectual property issues involved in various business departments. The experts explained in detail by combining theory and cases, which broadened the thinking of the participants, thus promoting the enthusiasm of various business departments in intellectual property mining in the optimization of equipment, process or system in the future. After the meeting, the leaders of each business department and the business backbone had a full communication and discussion with the teaching experts on the intellectual property rights that the department can declare.
Strengthening the declaration and management of intellectual property rights is not only the requirement for enterprises to promote innovation and development, but also the urgent need for enterprises to enhance their core competitiveness and promote their development.
