The biggest highlight of 8-1 Steel 2500m3 HyCROF commercial demonstration project is carbon reduction. The HyCROF commercial devices currently under construction can significantly reduce fuel consumption, which has a significant effect of reducing carbon emissions. What's more critical is that the successful low-carbon iron smelting technology from 8-1 Steel metallurgical furnace and Hydrogen-rich Carbon Cycling Blast Furnace, after being optimized and upgraded, will be the first time to achieve the perfect transplantation and replication in the traditional blast furnace, so as to accelerate the traditional blast furnace's rapid carbon reduction, and to help the national goal of carbon reaching the peak, and carbon neutrality, which is the biggest value and significance of the project. As one of the largest projects invested in a single construction project in recent years, the 2500m3 HyCROF commercial demonstration project of Baosteel shoulders the important task of transplanting BAOWU 430m3 HyCROF low-carbon metallurgical experimental platform technology to the traditional 2500m3 blast furnace, and therefore attracts the attention of the BAOWU Group and even the entire domestic iron and steel industry.
